English-to-Vietnamese PDF translation

PDFs may contain selectable text or scanned images, and each type requires different preparation. Sen Vang translates English PDFs into Vietnamese for business materials, user guides and applications, while clarifying layout and delivery requirements. Send the source file to assess the actual content and work involved.

Check the PDF type before quoting

Text PDFs are generally easier to extract. Scans, faint images and skewed pages may require OCR and manual checking. Agree whether images, captions, tables, headers and footers are included. Original Word, Excel or design files can make layout handling more efficient.

  • Include all pages, appendices and image text requiring translation.
  • Explain the intended use and audience of the Vietnamese version.
  • Specify editable Word, PDF or another agreed delivery format.

Translate within the specialist context

Contracts, reports, operating instructions and product introductions use different terminology. Share glossaries or references if available. Abbreviations, product names and figures should be checked throughout. Discussing illegible or ambiguous content reduces the risk of translation based on assumptions.

Describe layout requirements specifically

Matching the original may mean retaining tables, figures, page numbering and paragraph structure. Identify mandatory elements and those that can be adjusted for readability. Vietnamese text length differs from English, so re-layout may be necessary. Image quality and PDF structure affect reconstruction; layout scope must be confirmed in advance.

Submit files and agree delivery

Quotations reflect actual content, complexity, file quality and layout work. PDF page counts do not always reflect translation volume because text density varies. State your deadline and priorities for longer documents. On receipt, check pages, tables, figures and important terminology; specific locations make feedback easier to review.
